1. Understand the Basics Of Good Communication Skills
1st Know What Communication Really Is:-
Communication is a process of transferring signals or messages between a sender and the receiver through various methods like (written words, nonverbal cues and spoken words). It is also a mechanism we use for establishing and modification of relationships.

Making Eye Contact:-
Whether you are speaking or listening but the looking into the eyes of the person with whom you are now conversing can make the interaction more successful. This Eye contact conveys interest and encourages your partners to be interested in you in return.
One technique to help you with this is to consciously look into one of your listener’s eyes and then move to the other’s eye. Going back and forth between these two makes your eyes appear to sparkle. Another trick is imagining a letter “T” on your listener’s face, with crossbar being the imaginary line across the eye brows and a vertical line coming down the center of nose. Keep your eyes scanning in that “T” zone?
These include gestures with your hands & face. Make your whole body to talk. Use smaller gestures for an individual and for small groups. The gestures should get larger as the group to which one is addressing increases in its size.
Never Send Mixed Messages:-
Make your words, your gestures, your facial expressions and the tone match. Disciplining someone while smiling always sends a mixed message and is therefore very ineffective. If you have to deliver negative messages, make your words, your facial expressions, and tone matching the message.
Be Aware Of That Your Body Is Saying:-
Can say much more than a mouthful of words says. An open stance with the arms relaxed at your sides often tells anyone around you that you are and open to hearing anything what they have to say.
Arms crossed and shoulders hunched and on the other hand, suggest disinterest in conversation and unwillingness to communicate. Often, the communication can be stopped before it starts by the body language that tells people that you don’t want to talk.
The Appropriate and an approachable stances can make even difficult to flow more smoothly.

Speak clearly and don’t mumble. If the peoples are always asking you to repeat yourself, always try to do the better job of articulating yourself in a quite better manner.
Pronouncing Your Words Correctly
People will often judge your competency through your vocabulary you use. If you aren’t sure of how to pronounce a word, don’t use it.1st improve your vocabulary by reading new words in the daily routine and Look in the dictionary to help you to learn how to pronounce a new word?
Always Use The Right Words
If you are not sure of the meaning of a word so don’t use it. Grab a dictionary 1st and start a daily habit of learning at least one new word every day. Try to Use it sometime in your conversations during the whole day.
Slowing Your Speech Down
People will perceive you as a nervous and unsure of yourself if you talk quite fast. However be careful and not to slow down to the point where some people begin to finish your sentence just to help you to finish it.
Developing Your Voice
The high or whiny voice is mostly not perceived to be one of the authority. In fact the high and a soft voice can make you sound like prey to some aggressive co-worker or make others not to take you seriously. Start doing the exercises to lower the pitch of your voice. And try singing, but do it an octave lower only on all your favorite songs. By practicing this after a period of time, your voice may begin to lower.
Animate Your Voice
You must avoid a monotone and use dynamics. Your pitch of sound should raise and lower periodically. The Radio DJ’s are usually a good example of this.
Using Appropriate Volume
Use a volume that is more appropriate for the setting. Try to speak more softly when you are alone and close, and speak louder when you are speaking to larger groups or across the larger spaces.
